Travel agent commissions. Our programs are priced without an agent commission. However, we are grateful to travel agents who generate business. Far Fung Places would be pleased to extend a flat-fee commission on a trip-by-trip basis. Please call our office 1. 415. 386. 8306.

Payment types. We accept Visa®, American Express®, and Mastercard®. However there is a small convenience bank fee (3.5%) charge for card use. No convenience fee is charged when paying by check or wire transfer.

Custom itineraries for small groups or for individuals. Custom itineraries are a reflection of our proprietary information and expertise in the field, an asset which we use to develop a program that meets your ambitions for the trip. Our prices are generally higher on our private programs. We are pleased to give an estimated quotation on a complimentary basis; thereafter, if you wish to proceed we require a deposit to design a custom program.

Our clientele. Our clients are successful, highly educated, from all walks of life, and have a great sense of adventure and discovery. Our programs are geared for the active and mobile person in good physical condition, without physical limitations that will impede the progress of the program.

Singles. If you are a single and request a share, we will endeavor to find you a roommate. If we are unsuccessful, we ask you to pay only the single supplement the ground operator charges us.

Insurance. Should you have to cancel your Trip because of illness, injury or death to you or an immediate family member, depending on the type of coverage purchased, Trip cancellation insurance may protect some or all deposits and payments for both air and tour costs. Purchasing Trip cancellation insurance at a much later date may limit some of the coverage as to pre-existing or other conditions. Far Fung Places strongly recommends the immediate purchase of Trip cancellation insurance including emergency medical evacuation, trip delay (interruption or after departure coverage), baggage and repatriation.

Trip cancellation and interruption penalties are significant. Optional travel Insurance from Travel Guard or Travel Ex is available. Please note that you are welcome to get coverage through another agency if you choose. It is Traveler's responsibility to understand the limitations of their insurance coverage and purchase additional insurance as needed. It is the Traveler's sole responsibility to research, evaluate and purchase appropriate coverage. Traveler agrees that Far Fung Places is not responsible for any uninsured losses.
